Jennifer Lopez looked youthful and energetic on her way out of a meeting in NYC yesterday. While she may have run home to catch Idol, there was some disappointment waiting. Puerto Rico native Jorge Nuñez was one of the first two to go home from the top 13. He wasn't spared by the judges thanks to the new rule, but when he gets home the fan support suggests that he has a career waiting for him.
The aspiring singer was interviewed recently and asked about Jennifer Lopez, here is what he had to say.

Q. Ryan Seacrest got a text from Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony praising you. Have you heard from them since?
A. Up to now I haven't heard from them, but I don't know. I'm pretty sure that that was just a sign that things are going to be great for me.

I saw this and don't understand why he was even kicked off. His rendition of MJ's song was so beautiful! If I had to choose it would have been Anoop. He was trying to hard with Beat It. He has a great voice and his arrangement was great, but his voice just didn't seem strong enuff for the song. Jorge has such a soulful voice, I hope someone signs him. He has a great voice for ballads. -- Cattt
I saw it too, and I dont think he should have been kicked off either. Its funny cus the night before when they sang, I had a feeling he was going to be the one to go.
I think that girl with the tatoo on her arm (that messed up the song when she forgot the words) and the other guy (that looks really young and is married and played the guitar when he sang) were the ones that should have gone home. To me they were the weakest ones.
Oh yeah, Shevy, that girl that sang Rockin Robin should have gone. The song didnt fit her. Which is what they said about Jorge's choice of song and that comment didnt make sense. It was like she tried hard to fit the song and she knew it wasn't for her. -- Cattt
