Glee is the hottest show on television right now! Fresh off winning the Golden Globe for Best Television Series- Comedy or Musical, the show has announced their next big guest star!
We were anticipating the guest star to be Madonna, since there’s been so much talk about the upcoming episode based around the Material Girl. Show producer Ryan Murphy told EW, “It’s big… huge. We’re shooting it now. It’s got like 10 numbers in it, and the production value is very big. We adore her and worship her, so when I’m directing, I’m always like, ‘Do it for Madonna.’”
Sadly, Madge won’t be appearing in person. But Jennifer Lopez will! According to TV Guide, Lopez will be meeting with producers in the coming weeks to discuss her character.
Murphy said last night, “I have a meeting with Jennifer Lopez in a couple of weeks. She said she wants to be on.” Murphy also told Extra he wants to de-glamorize J. Lo. "We are writing a role for Ms. Jennifer Lopez, who we love,” he said. “We want her to be a cafeteria lady."
That would be hysterical! It’s not the first time Jennifer has played a blue-collar worker—one of her best roles was in Maid in Manhattan!
