ANISTON AND LOPEZ TO STAR IN FERTILITY COMEDY MOVIES

Hollywood stars JENNIFER ANISTON and JENNIFER LOPEZ are set to star as women who turn to science to help them have babies, in two new comedy movies.

With her ex-hubby Brad Pitt building a team of six kids so far! — Jennifer Aniston is going the opposite route in a new movie in which she'll play a woman struggling to get pregnant for the first time. Jennifer has signed on to costar with Jason Bateman in The Baster. The comedy centers around a fella (Jason) who learns that his best pal (Jen) is planning to have a baby through artificial insemination. So he does what any normal person would do... he replaces her donor's semen with his own so that he's secretly the real father!

Believe it or not, this isn't the only artificial insemination comedy in the works for an A-lister. Jennifer Lopez is set to play a fertility-challenged woman in Plan B, which is about a single woman who resorts to modern technology to get pregnant only to find the man of her dreams on the day she learns she's pregnant. Last year's comedy Baby Mama — with Amy Poehler's playing a surrogate to Tina Fey's single gal — perhaps sparked the trend as it was a box office success earning $64.3 million worldwide. Jennifer Aniston will also produce Baster, which begins shooting in the spring. But for now you can catch her on the big screen in He's Just Not That Into You, which opens today. This film is an interesting choice for Jen, who, as Star reported last year, has plans to start her own family— perhaps with beau John Mayer.
