When the two cons head for Detroit to pull off their final big scam, the Marshal is put on their case but she finds she is attracted to one of them and has second thoughts about bringing them in.

The film was Nominated for 2 Oscars. Another 11 wins & 6 nominations followed.
Including nominations and wins for Jennifer Lopez herself!

- 1999 MTV Movie Awards: Best Female Performance - Jennifer Lopez: Nominated

- 1999 MTV Movie Awards: Best Kiss - Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney: Nominated

Trivia:

- The trunk scene was shot 45 times. However, none of these takes were used in the final cut, as the test audience dislike the long single take. The scene as it appears in the movie was a re-shoot. The original long take is available on the DVD extras.

- The snow falling outside of the hotel where Jack and Karen have a drink was computer generated.

- Lopez's Karen Sisco and Clooney's Jack Foley ranked #4 on Moviefone's 'The Top 25 Sexiest Movie Couples'. [May 2008]

Fun Fact Mistakes:

-
In the car crash with Glenn Michaels, Karen Sisco hits her forehead on the left side, but in the hospital the right side of her forehead is bruised.

- During the argument before the car crash the windows on the left side of the car are halfway open. When Karen hits her head they're fully closed.

- In the hotel room, when Jack and Karen are together, the bed sheets go from green to white to green again.

- The holes that Karen shoots in the trunk of the car have disappeared by the time she gets out.

- The style of windshield wipers on Karen's car changes between shots.

- Karen's Dad gives her a gun as a birthday present, the day before the Super Bowl, which is usually in late January or early February. Yet when Buddy checks her driver's license that night, her date of birth is listed as April.

Please support Jennifer Lopez and purchase this classic and critical acclaimed film.
