Jennifer Lopez Helps So You Think You Can Dance dizzy feet foundation

On Wednesday night's "So You Think You Can Dance" executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe came clean about a rumor that's been circulating for weeks, he explained why Katie Holmes was on the show. She is one of the founding members of the brand-new Dizzy Feet Foundation.

Holmes, Lythgoe, director/choreographer Adam Shankman and "Dancing With the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba teamed up to create the foundation, which seeks to provide dance scholarships to underserved and at-risk youth, as well as to create an accreditation program for dance schools nationwide.

The Dizzy Feet Foundation will have the benefit of an Honorary Board, on which 19 Entertainment CEO Simon Fuller, among others, will serve, as well as a Steering Committee consisting of some of the most illustrious names in the American dance and entertainment communities, including Paula Abdul, Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus, Mia Michaels, Mary Murphy, Debbie Allen, Shane Sparks and Lil C. The affiliation of additional Steering Committee members will be confirmed through nominations by the founding members. Members of the Steering Committee are responsible for selecting Dizzy Feet Foundation scholarship recipients and following their journeys.

The Dizzy Feet Foundation will also sponsor, fund and/or offer community-based dance programs that will expose kids in low-income areas to the lifelong benefits of dance education.

Through www.dizzyfeetfoundation.org, supporters have the opportunity to follow their contribution, as well as track the progress of the foundation’s work and the scholarship recipients’ journeys.

To Anonymous: We are not sure what she will be doing exactly but she is on the Steering Committee which, is "a committee that sets agendas and schedules of business, as for a legislative body or other assemblage."

And above it says this about what they will do.
"Members of the Steering Committee are responsible for selecting Dizzy Feet Foundation scholarship recipients and following their journeys."

So I guess she will help find dance students for the scholarship.

I feel U Jasmine. Not sure if Miley Cyrus is considered a dancer by many people.
