The first Muscular Dystrophy Association Labor Day telethon without longtime host Jerry Lewis since 1966 will still have plenty of star power.
Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Lady Antebellum and Martina McBride will be among the entertainers helping to raise money for research.
Also expected are Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson, Jordin Sparks, Greyson Chance, Darius Rucker and Richie Sambora.
Nancy O’Dell, Alison Sweeney and Nigel Lythgoe will serve as co-hosts.
The show will be shortened from 22 hours to six hours.
It will be broadcast from 6:00 p.m. to midnight on September 4. - SOURCE

AMERICAN IDOL recently received an incredible 10 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, more than any other reality program on television and the most nominations in the show’s history. Highlights include Emmy nominations for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program as well as an Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program for Ryan Seacrest.

Marc Anthony "Harassing" & Drunk-Dialing Jennifer Lopez Post-Split
Is Marc Anthony trying to push Jennifer Lopez's buttons by pressing speed-dial? Us Weekly says the allegedly controlling crooner has been bombarding his estranged missus with phone calls, a tactic that could jeopardize the "cordial" terms they've been trying to maintain post-split for the sake of 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.
"He calls her nonstop, especially when he's drinking, and they had a huge argument in early August," an insider asserts to the mag. "Marc is constantly harassing her and doesn't think she'll go through with the divorce."
Although Jennifer Lopez has been busy at work, it seems that Marc Anthony can’t move on from the split. He reportedly calls her all the time in hopes that she won’t follow through with a divorce filing.
Marc has been pulling all the wrong moves in order to get his lady back. But in the face of his bullying, Jennifer has been keeping a straight face for their twin children Max and Emme.
Anthony's rep, however, denies he's been repeatedly reaching out and touching his ex, whom he rendezvoused with in the Hamptons on Aug. 10 in order to see the kids.
