Jennifer Lopez' $350 Million Divorce
Reported by JLo 24:Ay-yi-yi! If it's true that Jennifer Lopez's marriage to Marc Anthony will soon be over, there'll be a lot of dough to split up before the divorce proceedings finish.
The National Enquirer reports that Lopez, 38, and Anthony, 40—who are rumored to be on the brink of Splitsville—have an estimated $350 million fortune that would need to be divided if they dissolve their marriage.
There's also the matter of custody for their twins Max and Emme, who'll celebrate their first birthday in February.
It's questionable as to whether the kids' parents will even be together at that point, given their hostile behavior while celebrating New Year's Eve in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The couple—who've been married for 4 1/2 years—broke into an explosive argument during a New Year's Eve party, with Anthony shoving his finger in his wife's face.
"At one point Marc took Jennifer to the side and got very serious with her," says a staffer at La Concha hotel, where the party—and the argument—reportedly took place. "It looked as if he was giving her some kind of orders—like a father scolding a child. It didn't look like a nice conversation. Put it this way—no one was smiling, and it was the biggest party of the year!"
Maybe he was warning her not to make a sequel to Gigli?
Of course, having $350 million at stake would make anybody edgy. Everybody wants to extract their pound of flesh—and in this case, there's plenty of that to go around.

J. Lo and Marc Anthony are pulling a Diddy! These stingy celebs are getting raked over the Obama campaign coals for wanting to party but not donate any cash.
The Valentine's Day musical break-up couple (heh) are gracing the Latino Inaugural Ball in DC on Jan. 18 with their sparkley, over-the-top presence---Marc will perform and J. Lo will speak, but of course nothing is ever that simple.
Some Latino fund raisers are sniffing that neither donated a cent and didn't seem the least bit interested in supporting Obama until after he was elected. Marc Anthony refused to play some concert for him in Orlando and J. Lo was waiting for a personal phone call from Obama before she endorsed.
She wanted a formal invitation and then "refused" when Obama never found the time to contact her. Oh, that J. Lo. A modern day Emily Post!
Some people are totally thinking outside the box on this one and calling the couple "vile opportunists" who are "worming" their way into Obama's campaign.
To which we say: Duh!
J.Lo to Perform at Latin American Inaugural Gala
Jennifer Lopez will be performing at the upcoming Latin American Inaugural Gala on the 18th of this month.

Jennifer Lopez, Paulina Rubio, Alejandro Sanz and other Latin artists will perform in the Gala Opening America, scheduled for January 18, two days before the inauguration of Barack Obama.
The celebration was designed by leading Hispanic organizations in the country and was also attended by Tony Plana, who plays Ignacio in the U.S. adaptation of the Colombian novela "Betty the Ugly one".
The purpose of the party, according to organizers, is to celebrate the role of Latino voters in the triumph of the Democratic candidate in the elections last November 4.
With an unprecedented "it became clear that the Latino vote will be decisive in the future," he said in a recent interview with the BBC Luis Cerros of Democracia USA, an organization that promotes the political participation of Hispanics.
Hills says that from the polls in November "will be a turning point" with respect to Hispanics.

Alejandro Sanz, Juans, Paulina Blond and other latin American artists supported the candidacy of Barack Obama to the presidency since the first moments of the campaign.

It seems as though more magazines are coming forward with their inside stories on the possible divorce between Jennifer Lopez and her hubby. Along with the National Enquirer are reports from US Weekly, who were one of the first to report trouble in the marriage, and InTouch Weekly.
The National Enquirer quotes one source as saying, "Jennifer really has tried to work things out, but I think he's (Marc) pushed her too far."

As evidenced by her turn on the January 2009 cover of GQ (previous slide), Ms. Aniston has used this particular publicity strategy before. She appeared fully naked on the March 1996 cover of Rolling Stone and topless on the December 2005 issue of GQ.
Meanwhile, Janet Jackson's topless turn on the September 1993 cover of Rolling Stone didn't hurt matters either. She repeated the feat on the covers of FHM in 2006 and Vibe in 2008.

Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez are both beautiful full figured gals. When they pour theme less into a tight fitting dress there are curves everywhere. Us Weekly notes that for Lopez, "Working out isn't exciting to me but training for a triathlon is," said the singer, who gained 50 pounds while pregnant with twins Max and Emme born on February 22.
To prepare for the September 14 Nautica Malibu Triathlon, the 5'6" star, 39, turned to her trainer of more than a decade, Gunnar Peterson, who led her through swimming, biking and running.
Jennifer used a personal trainer to help her get her post baby (actually twins) back and Kim reveals to Us Weekly Magazine, "What it Takes To Have My Body!" The magazine reports that Kim Kardashian's stint on DWTS inspired to get even fitter for her sexy 2010 swimsuit calendar.
Her exercise partner? Who needs a personal trainer when you're dating New Orleans Saints star Reggie Bush, 23? "He writes my workouts for me," she says of her regimen: running two miles, then strength training arms, legs, and abs. "In the off-season, we work out together almost every day!"
She has also reined in her sweet tooth. "I changed my Oreos to nonfat frozen yogurt," admits Kardashian, she sticks to a diet of oatmeal, chicken, salmon and veggies. "My body can't handle too many carbs." She adds - "I have spent hours on the treadmill."

Jennifer Lopez keeps Boston flick on down-Lo
Is J. Lo a no-go for Boston?There’s still no word on when Yari Film Group’s romantic comedy “The Governess,” starring Jennifer Lopez, is slated to start filming in the Hub. But it doesn’t appear it’s anytime soon.
State film cheese Nick Paleologos told the Track he hasn’t heard a peep from production peeps about the flick’s shooting schedule.
When the project was announced last summer, Yari, which produced made-in-Mass. movies “The Lonely Maiden” and “What Doesn’t Kill You,” had expected to start shooting here in the fall.
But since the announcement in the Hollywood trades, there’s been little to report about the comedy - other than it stars J. Lo as a bank-robbing pro who, in order to make her big score, poses as a nanny for three rich brats who live with their widowed father. No other cast has been announced.
And during the months-long radio silence on “The Governess,” Lopez has signed on to star in CBS Films’ “Plan B,” a funny flick about an aging single gal who turns to artificial insemination only to meet her Prince Charming the same day the stick turns blue. The flick, written by “Will and Grace” scribe Kate Angelo, has a start date of April or May, but a director has yet to sign on.
Also mucking up the Mass. movie is the fact that Yari Film Group’s distribution arm - the one that releases the movies - was forced into Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in recent weeks. Producer-slash-financier Bob Yari claims the move, caused by a $6 million wipe-out of its payroll account, doesn’t affect its production company. But Hollywood insiders told us they find that hard to believe - especially in this economy.
